Every piece of furniture created by Phythfyxzar comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. This demonstrates our confidence in our craftsmanship and materials.

Our Commitment: If any structural or manufacturing issue arises at any time during your ownership, we will repair or replace the affected component at no cost to you.

Returns & Refunds

We create each piece specifically for you. Due to the custom nature of our work, the return policy differs from standard retail items.

This policy is designed in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law.

Ready-Made Items

For non-custom items displayed in our catalog:

  • 30-day return window from date of delivery
  • Item must be in original condition
  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer
  • Refund issued within 14 days of our receiving the returned item

Custom Orders

For bespoke pieces made to your specifications:

  • Non-refundable 50% deposit required to begin work
  • Cancellations before production: 75% of deposit refunded
  • Cancellations during production: no refund of deposit
  • Completed custom pieces cannot be returned except in case of significant manufacturing defect

Quality Guarantee: If you receive a custom piece that does not meet the agreed-upon specifications, we will either remake the piece or offer a partial refund, determined on a case-by-case basis.

Proper care extends the life of your furniture and preserves its beauty. Each piece comes with specific care instructions, but here are general guidelines:

  • Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth
  • Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed
  • Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources
  • Maintain consistent humidity levels (40-60%)
  • Apply recommended wood conditioner every 6-12 months
  • Use coasters and pads to prevent damage
  • Address spills immediately

Upholstered Elements

  • Vacuum regularly using upholstery attachment

What if I notice damage upon delivery?

If you notice any damage when your furniture is delivered, document it with photos and notify us within 48 hours. We'll arrange for immediate inspection and repair or replacement as necessary. Do not refuse delivery, as this can complicate the resolution process.

Does the warranty cover normal wear and tear?

Our lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not include normal wear and tear. However, we offer repair services at reasonable rates for issues resulting from normal use. We believe furniture should age gracefully and can help maintain and restore your pieces throughout their lifetime.

Can I modify my custom order once production has started?

Once production has begun, significant modifications may not be possible or may incur additional costs. Minor adjustments can sometimes be accommodated, depending on the current stage of production. We always recommend finalizing all details during the design phase before approving production.

What happens if my furniture needs repair but I've moved outside the United Kingdom?

Our warranty is valid worldwide. If you've relocated internationally, we can either arrange to work with a qualified local craftsperson under our guidance, or provide detailed repair instructions and materials if appropriate. For complex issues, we can discuss shipping arrangements. Additional shipping costs may apply for international repairs.

Is the warranty transferable if I sell or give away my furniture?

Yes, our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects transfers to subsequent owners. We believe quality furniture should last for generations. The new owner should contact us to register the transfer of ownership for our records.

Do you offer refinishing services for older pieces?
